PMKS in Jakarta Continues to Decline

Recently, number of people with social welfare issues (PMKS) in Jakarta continues to decline.

PMKS continues to decline every year in Jakarta

Based on Jakarta Social Dept. (Dinsos) data, number of PMKS is declining to 100 percent since 2016.

284 PMKS-Prone Areas will Be Guarded During Eid

"PMKS continues to decline every year in Jakarta," stated Chaidir, Head Division of Service and Rehabilitation of Jakarta Dinsos, Thursday (6/28).

He mentioned, there are 1,200 PMKS in Jakarta in 2016. But then it is declining into 842 PMKS in 2017 and this year it becomes 385 PMKS in total.

"It is accumulation from netted PMKS in operation which is held during Ramadan," he informed.

According to him, PMKS is declining because his side expands guard point towards PMKS massively. His side guarded 189 points in 2016.

In 2017, his side focused to guard 218 points. While this year, guard point against PMKS will be focused in 289 points. According to plan, his side will also expand guard points to urban village areas.

"We will continue to guard those locations simultaneously. Moreover, Asian Games will be held in the near future," he affirmed.
